M35 Waffen SS Double decal helmet
This is a very decent example of a 1939 production Quist M-35
double decal Waffen-SS helmet. The batch number 3233 is indicative of 1939
production, as is the dark slate grey color and blue-green retaining rivet
combination. The "wide" Q decal is also featured here, along with the Q
pattern party shield, both factory glued and lacquered to the finish. The
liner is in fair condition, complete, and tight with no bent pins. The
chinstrap is fragile and missing the tip. This helmet comes from a long time
collection, whose owner has treasured it for years. All in all, it displays
very well and is an example of a scarce Q production helmet. The price is
17.5k USD and includes a certificate of lifetime guarantee of authenticity
from me. Contact me at

M35 Heer Double decal helmet
For sale is an Early ET M-35 DD Heer, ( size marked ET66) with an early "apple
green" finish in combination with the blue-green rivets (early ET color
combination similar to the "Fat Rune" ET produced SS helmets of that similar
batch number range). This is a very presentable helmet that the seller pulled
out of the woodwork in the Northeast a number of years ago. The paint and
decals are about excellent, with graceful crazing to the decals. The leather
portion of the double reinforced liner was cut when the seller obtained the
helmet, for reasons unknown, but the rivets are tight and untouched. The
chinstrap is a crisp example that is 1937 dated. The date is not legible on
the liner band, but with the reinforcement feature, is presumably late '37 /
early '38. The batch number is thought to be a 1937 production period number.
This is a presentable, early example of an ET Heer M-35 and would fill a good
spot in any Heer collection. The helmet is priced at 4k USD and comes with
full authenticity certification. Please contact me at

M40 Waffen SS combat helmet
For sale is a true combat Waffen-SS M-40 example, recently out of the woodwork in California. The helmet is an ET64 with tight, untouched liner chinstrap. The paint shows a lot of field use and wear, and the decal is heavily worn. The shell of the helmet shows evidence of strikes and dings that are commensurate with period wartime use. The price is 3k USD, and includes a certificate of authenticity from me. Contact me at kellyhicks@hotmail.com ON HOLD
Heer Austrian transition Helmet

This helmet is right out of the woodwork in California and is priced at 1150 USD. This includes a certificate of authenticity from me. Contact me at kellyhicks@hotmail.com
Black SS parade Helmet
For sale is a unique and rare Allgemeine-SS droop bill helmet,
manufactured by DRP and possessing a satin black finish and hand-rendered SS
insignia. The three pad riveted liner and chinstrap system is similar to that
of the RZM helmet. There is a name clearly written in the liner band, in Neues
Schrift. The initials vK also appear in the back skirt. The hand painted
insignia are more refined in their execution on this helmet than normally
encountered, having been carefully stenciled. They display the crazing and age
characteristics expected on a piece original to the mid-1930s. The SS used
hand painted insignia widely before the standardization of the CA Pocher
insignia in late 1935. Since most hand painted examples were re-finished and
re-decorated, existing examples are extremely rare. This helmet is part of the
vast collection of a well-known transitional SS helmet collector, whose
identity will be shared with the buyer--suffice it to say the provenance of
this helmet is impeccable. The buyer also will receive a certificate of
guarantee of authenticity from me. Price is 16.5k USD and includes a
certificate of authentication from me.

SS Double Decal M35 (Formerly Black) Helmet
For sale is a very rare and early ET64 Allgemeine-then-Waffen
SS M-35 helmet. This piece numbers in the lowest range of the ET M-35
production and possesses an early M-31 liner with the Braunschweig manufacturer's
mark embossed in the leather. The original decals on the innermost finish were
scraped when the helmet was refinished, but clearly may have been ET Fat Rune
decals given the early make of this helmet. The factory finish was covered
in black when the helmet was reconfigured for parade use, then the final
finish of non-factory pea green and a set of CA Pocher decals were added for
this helmet's final use configuration. Many SS helmets display multiple layers
of paint and decals, due to their relatively low place in the procurement
chain in the early years prior to WWII. For the collector who is looking for a
nice veteran SS helmet that carries a lot of history with it. Price is 13kUSD
and includes full certification of authenticity. Please contact me at

For sale is an excellent example of a late war slotted paratrooper helmet with
a standard white Luftwaffe eagle in overall very good plus condition. The
paint, decal and straps are very nice, but the liner shows age and use, with a portion missing. The rivets, pads and all components are complete and
intact. The helmet displays very well and is priced fairly at 6500 USD. It
comes with a certificate of lifetime guarantee of authenticity to the buyer.

SS Double Decal Q--very early reissue

Offered for sale is a stunning example of a very early reissue or re-paint
Waffen-SS double decal helmet. It is a Q62 with a 55 liner, and follows the
exact trend of the milky-grey early repaint helmets, to include a beautiful
set of CA Pocher decals on top of the re-finish. This helmet is pictured on
page 184 of "SS Steel," and is untouched except for a minor repair to a weak
spot in the chinstrap (the strap itself is original to the helmet, and has a
roller-buckle commercial buckle that is sometimes encountered in
earlier Allgemeine, SD, and sometimes KL helmets. The liner is excellent plus
condition, with all rivets perfect. Overall the helmet rates a solid 95%
condition and would make an outstanding addition to any SS headgear
collection. It comes with a certificate of lifetime guarantee of authenticity
to the buyer. Contact me for price and other information at

M18 SS Black parade/Allgemeine-SS helmet
For sale is a rare offering of an Allgemeine-SS M-18 transitional in stunning original condition, ca 1934/35. The shell consists of a German M-18 with a satin black unit-applied spray finish, leaving the inner dome characteristically in its factory field grey. The hand-applied ORIGINAL insignia show graceful aging and pre-date the 1935 advent of the CA Pocher issue decals (see Baer, "History of the German Steel Helmet" for reference to this date). The ca 1932 liner and strap are complete, untouched, and are perfect examples of the cottage industry approach the SS suppliers were taking to try to outfit the fledgeling force by any means possible. This historic and early piece shows the hallmarks of that early period of struggle. Original transitionals are very rarely offered for sale, and this is a chance to own one that comes with a provenance of single ownership for over the last 40 years. The price is 13.5k USD, and includes a certificate of guarantee of authenticity from me. Contact me at kellyhicks@hotmail.com** SOLD **
M40 Waffen SS helmet
For sale is a direct vet purchase M40 waffen SS helmet. It consists of an ET64, lot number 959. It has a name written in the liner: H. Hauser, plus some light numbers that are illegible. The ET pattern runic decal remains at about 50%; the liner shows strong wear but is complete, untouched and intact. The chinstrap has a period stitched repair on one side. The Schiefergrau factory finish remains at 80%+, with slight traces of winter white camouflage paint. This helmet was bought directly from the daughter of Captain Michael Joseph O'Haco , HQ Company 45th Infantry Division, winner of the Silver Star, Bronze star, Two Purple Hearts and Four Invasion Medals. He was badly wounded outside Nurnberg Germany in April of 1945. The helmet was one of two sent home before he was wounded. It comes with signed letter from his daughter. The price on this excellent and historical helmet is 4100 USD. Price includes a certificate of guarantee of authenticity from me. Contact me at kellyhicks@hotmail.com** SOLD **
M40 Heer camouflage helmet
For sale is an untouched condition Heer M-40 single decal
camouflage helmet, NS 62, size 55. The sprayed camouflage paint finish is
reminiscent of what is commonly called "Normandy Camo", with the expected
ordinance tan and medium green scheme. There is a strong Heer shield
partially visible--not dug or artifically uncovered--just showing honest
wear to expose a portion of it. The liner and strap are in as found
condition, showing wear and age. There is some warping to the liner band and
retaining rivets, a result of hard, period use. Overall this helmet displays
nicely and would look fine in any Heer collection. The price is 2700 USD,
and includes a certificate of guarantee of authenticity. Contact me at

M42 Heer camouflage helmet
For sale is an interesting and unusual version of a ca
1943-44 camouflage helmet that presents a camo pattern that suggests an
urban "rubble" combat environment. I originally obtained this helmet from a
friend who sold a 30 year collection of veteran obtained items from the
Pennsylvania area. This one was brought back by a veteran of the Italian
campaign. The condition, wear, camo paint and all features are completely
untouched in every way. The helmet shows a lot of wear and use prior to it
being camo'd, and then a lot of wear to the camo itself--so this one
definitely saw a lot of service. It is a one-look original and would be a
great addition to any camo collection. Price is 2k USD, and I will provide a
certificate of guarantee of authenticity with the helmet. Contact me at

in very good condition overall. Price: $6100 USD
